Fashion Revolution is an organization that advocates for environmental and social sustainability in fashion with a focus on pushing for transparency within brands’ supply chains. The organization has a network of student ambassadors throughout the world that continue their efforts on university campuses.
i have been a student ambassador since spring 2019. I’ve partnered fair fashion, the club that i founded which surrounds the same topic, with fashion revolution and created fair fashion week during the same week as fashion revolution week. in 2019, this included a screening of the true cost in collaboration with a local sustainable fashion store called community, a panel with industry leaders, and the release of our lookbook showcasing all sustainably and ethically sourced looks and pointers for how to be more responsible with fashion.
