during my time studying abroad in london during the summer of 2017, i was the stores merchandising and buying intern. in this role, i assisted the buying team by exercising trend forecasting and retail planning skills to curate fw18 merchandise. I assembled and presented in-depth competitive analysis, potential vendor identification, and forecasts of buying patters through a six-month plan, buying and planning sheets, and sales reports, which were generated on excel. Finally, i practiced visual merchandising skills in order to create a more profitable environment for the store and a more enjoyable experience for customers.
