ROUGE MAGAZINE - FASHION EDITOR

I am the fashion editor of rouge magazine (previously little red book magazine).

This roles includes creative direction and development of magazine and shoot concepts as well as leadership roles including managing the fashion commitTEe of over 30 members and conducting meetings.

utilizing marketing and public relations skills, i communicate with fashion business owners in order to pull clothing and style shoots.

for the Spring 2018 issue, the fashion shoot revolved around the theme “new nude.” This theme was meant to use various shades of nude as an expression of the need for greater racial representation in the fashion industry.

for the fall 2018 issue, i styled the fashion shoot to go along with the theme “generation X,” which drew inspiration from the retro looks of the 80’s.
